Delaware rode a good effort from starter Emilio Linger to beat the Niagara Falls Expos at Carrier Field. The final score was 4-2. The 1787 BC, at 37-24, sit in second place in the Silver A.

Delaware won the game in the bottom of the 15th inning. With one out and Casey Ball on the mound for Niagara Falls, designated hitter Juan Martínez hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing 1787 BC fans to their feet.

"This wasn't a good win," said Martínez. "It was a great win."
