Stevens, Expos Get 3-0 Win
|
Niagara Falls right-hander Marvin Stevens was in fine form, shutting out the Grim Reapers, 3-0. Even with the win, the Expos have a dismal 17-43 record.
Stevens, who dominated for Niagara Falls, earned the victory to move to 2-7. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 10. Grim batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Stevens told the Niagara Falls Bulletin.
