Victory Pushes Comets Record to 27-24
|
Kent starter Rob Butler pitched effectively against the Niagara Falls Expos at Fuller Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. The Comets go to 27-24, putting them 6th in the Silver A.
Cristo Correa Jr. dealt the Expos a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Kent leading 4-3, Correa Jr., who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2037 draft, hit a 1-2 splitter for a run-scoring single.
