Smokies Walk It Off for 14th Win of Season
The Kent Comets got a superb performance from pitcher Michael Ramsey, but the Tennessee Smokies still won the game, 3-2. Ramsey was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball. The win was credited to Sang-yeon Soung in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Elliot Roebuck took the loss. Even with the win, the Smokies have a dismal 14-33 record.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Tennessee trailing 2-1, Fraser Childs hit a fastball from Elliot Roebuck for a 2-run home run, giving the Smokies the walk-off win.

"Nice to get this one," said Childs. "Wins have been hard to come by."
