White Walkers Get Win, Extend Streak to 5
The Buffalo White Walkers grabbed a 9-7 win over the Charleston Battery at Charleston Armory. Buffalo third baseman Jesús Lazcano was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Kenji Aoki earned the save for Buffalo, his 4th of the year. It was the 8th win in 12 games this year for the defending champion White Walkers, who are picking up where they left off.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Akihiko Fujii to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Fujii.
