Reapers Win at Niagara Falls, 5-2
|
The Grim Reapers stopped the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-2, at Waterfall Park. The Reapers got a big game from Jim Rigsby, who was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jhon Aimar got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. The save went to Gabriel Leeds, his 6th this season.
With Grim leading 3-2 in the top of the ninth, Rigsby hit a fastball from Manuel Sánchez for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Reapers ahead, 5-2.
"Feels good to get the job done," Rigsby said after the game.
The Reapers have now won 4 straight.
