Storm Pull Even With 5-0 Victory
Syracuse right-hander Kevin Moran pitched his team to a shutout win, 5-0, over the Kent Comets. The Storm raised their record to 21-21.

Syracuse used a timely hit from Kevin Davis to get the win. The designated hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Storm on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Despite the victory, Davis was prickly with assembled media after the game. He said only that he was "happy with the win."
