Hawks Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
The Laredo Hawks defeated the Mancelona Torch, 6-4, at Torch Field today. Leading the charge for Laredo was right fielder Kawenaula Alohalani. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Laredo reliever Mark Taylor was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Diyaa Ababneh took the loss. Javier Iturburua closed the game out for Laredo, earning his 15th save.

Alohalani had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Diyaa Ababneh, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Hawks a 6-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Alohalani.

Alohalani told a Laredo Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The Hawks, now 28-12, have won 6 in a row.
