Neef Hits 2 home runs in Dirty Reds Win
The Vancouver Grey Wolves and San Mateo Dirty Reds were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Wolf Den in Vancouver.

A 4-RBI performance from Eddie Neef helped the San Mateo Dirty Reds beat the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 10-6. Anastasio Cabanillas Jr. earned the win for San Mateo. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0. Wendell Drabek picked up the save, his 1st.

San Mateo relied on the bat of Zahid Kashani to get the win. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dirty Reds ahead, 2-0. For the game, Kashani had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said San Mateo manager Dean Ashley.

With the win, San Mateo pushes its record to 2-1.
