Alameda rode a decent outing from starter Steven Evans to victory over the Kent Comets at Alameda Field. The final score was 7-5. The first-place Airmen have a one-game lead in their division.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the tenth, with Alameda trailing 5-4, Xue-qin Chen hit a fastball from Elliot Roebuck for a 3-run home run, giving the Airmen the walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Evans said.
