The Delaware 1787 BC defeated the Walla Walla Walleye, 7-6, at Walleye Tank. Delaware center fielder August Force was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner was Chris Plautz in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Yuri Antonissen took the loss. Fernando Mora earned the save for Delaware, his 4th of the year.

Delaware used the timely hitting of Abhipala Srivastav to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the 1787 BC on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Srivastav.

With the win, Delaware goes to 12-5.
