Shallcross Delivers Walk-Off Win for Storm
The Syracuse Storm gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Storm had to overcome a good performance from Niagara Falls pitcher Marvin Stevens to claim a 5-4 win at Storm Park. Stevens went 8.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Syracuse reliever Hank Lynn was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Marvin Stevens.

Nathan Shallcross was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Storm right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Shallcross.

Syracuse, now 4-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
