Multi-HR Day for Amengual as Blue Dragons Overpower Caterpillars, 6-2

The Levittown Blue Dragons defeated the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 6-2, at The Cocoon. Levittown third baseman Juan Amengual was named player of the game for his superb performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Edward Martin, credited with the win, is now 5-3. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 6.1 innings. The Caterpillars, at 29-36, have lost 4 in a row.
Levittown used the clutch hitting of Joshua Sanford to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blue Dragons ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Amengual.
