Fighting Imps Need Extras to Top Thunder Hawks
Ithaca left fielder Donald McJannett was a significant contributor in his team's 7-6 triumph over the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks. He was 2-2 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Ithaca. Even with the win, the Fighting Imps have a dismal 20-44 record.

McJannett had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 11th. On a 2-2 sinker from Scott Richardson, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Fighting Imps a 7-6 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for McJannett.

"It wasn't our best performance," said McJannett, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
