The Portland Evergreens did just enough to sneak past the Las Vegas Flamingos, 4-3, at Evergreen Park. Portland pitcher Robert Smalls earned player of the game honors. Seong-hyeon Yi was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. Portland goes to 47-51, Las Vegas to 28-70.

The Evergreens grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, Billy Dotson, who finished 4th in the PL in slugging percentage with .554 in 2036, hit a 3-run home run off Kagetoki Matsubara, putting Portland in front, 4-0. For Dotson, it was his 22nd home run of the season.

Las Vegas manager JJ Hoban said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
