The Hollywood Shredders downed the Charleston Battery, 10-5, at Charleston Armory. The Shredders were led by Johan Kroening, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times. Mark Valle locked down his 4th save. With the win, Hollywood goes to 47-51, while the Battery fall to 51-47.

Hollywood took a 7-4 lead on Kroening's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Henry Henry in the top of the seventh, propelled Hollywood to the win.

Kroening told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
