Loss to Dragoons Extends Levittown Losing Streak
|
Starting pitcher Yasunobu Suisha pitched well enough to help the Louisiana Dragoons beat the Levittown Blue Dragons by the score of 9-3. Suisha, now 1-1, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 3 earned runs. Jerry Reid earned the save for Louisiana, his 1st of the year.
The Dragoons got a big at-bat from first baseman Adam Cunningham. For the game, Cunningham was 1-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Louisiana a 1-0 lead.
"We'll savor this win," Cunningham told the Louisiana Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
