Screaming Eagles Deal Shooters 6-4 Setback
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles bested the Springfield Shooters by a score of 6-4, with center fielder Sadiya Seth getting the main credit. On the day, Seth was 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Screaming Eagles. Ryan Fry sewed up the save, his 1st. The Screaming Eagles have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 1st win in 5 games.

Mercer Island took a 6-3 lead on Tomislav Jovovich's 4th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Jovovich hit in the top of the seventh, left Springfield pitcher Ettore Guizzardi visibly frustrated.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Jovovich told a Mercer Island Observer reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
