Palladium Sox Come Back Late to Top Love Boats
The Virginia Palladium Sox picked up a win at Heron Field, knocking off the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 6-2. Starting pitcher Matt Elmore, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. With the loss, Lake Minnetonka is 2-3.

Virginia used the timely hitting of John Ryan to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Palladium Sox on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Matt is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Virginia manager Ezequiel Chosson.
