Hollywood starter Joy-shan Men had a strong outing against the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. Hollywood, at 41-48, sits in 9th place in the Premier League.

Hollywood used the timely hitting of Richard Trevithick to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Shredders on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Trevithick told reporters after the game.
