Minnesota starter Billy Limby pitched effectively against the Akron Blimps at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The right-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. Akron's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

Nate Hodges had a big 2-run double for the Loons in the top of the second inning. With Minnesota leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Henry Terry and stroked the double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Loons ahead, 4-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hodges told the Minnesota Times.
