Shuckers Get Road Win, 7-3

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Behind a solid performance from center fielder Dave Bauer, the Biloxi Shuckers defeated the Lancaster Farmers, 7-3. Bauer was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times for the Shuckers. Félix Fernández was the winner. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.
Biloxi used the clutch hitting of Alfredo Reyes to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Shuckers ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
