The Lancaster Farmers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Cristóbal López, who stifled the Irving offense en route to a 2-1 Farmers win at Blue Sox Ballpark. Lancaster reliever Juan Santos was credited with the win, to go to 3-4. Rich Young took the loss for Irving. Lancaster is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Lancaster used the clutch hitting of Junya Furuya to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Farmers the lead, 2-1. For the game, Furuya had 1 single and 2 doubles in 4 at-bats.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Lancaster manager Dylan Smith.
