Yacoobi Lifts Rapiers to 10-5 Triumph
The Durham Rapiers topped the Minnesota Loons by the score of 10-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Bearooz Yacoobi. Yacoobi went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Rapiers on the day. The win was Jyotibhasin Kodi's in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Ye-qing Tsai took the loss for Minnesota. Durham is now 31-25.

Yacoobi had a key at-bat for Durham early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 11th double of the season and gave Durham an early 3-0 lead.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Yacoobi.
