The Akron Blimps turned back the Casper Ghosts, 5-4, at The Graveyard. Pedro Guerrero was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. Wiley Washington recorded his 1st save for Akron. Akron is now 35-20, 2 games up in the Silver AA.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Guerrero delivered big-time for Akron, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Millard Whipp. The game-changing hit put the Blimps on top, 5-4.
