The Casper Ghosts coasted to a win over the Virginia Beach Whales, 10-2. Hjalmar Bisseling had a good day at the plate for Casper. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Casper's record now stands at 22-29, placing them 7th in the Silver AA.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Blaine Callahan came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Virginia Beach pitcher John Stevens, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Casper on top, 3-2.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Casper manager José Zamora.
