Blimps Curb Farmers, 6-3

Akron and Lancaster duked it out at Goodyear Hanger Dome and the Blimps came out victorious.
The Akron Blimps downed the Lancaster Farmers, 6-3, at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The Blimps were led by Roberto Ramos, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 3 times. Akron leads the Silver AA by 2˝ games.
Ernest Franks went 2-3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Akron. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Keith Lawrence. It was his 27th RBI of the season.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Ramos said after the game.
