Tatum Helps Farmers Run Win Streak to 4
|
Lancaster right fielder Frank Tatum played a vital role in his team's 8-4 triumph over Minnesota. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for Lancaster. Jorge Souza, credited with the win, is now 5-2. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 6 innings. The save was credited to Mike Dean, his 5th.
Tatum had a game-changing single in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-0 fastball from Billy Limby, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Farmers a 5-4 lead. It was the 62nd hit of the year for Tatum.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Tatum.
Lancaster has now won 4 in a row.
