Blues Get Win, Extend Streak to 4

Barton Springs and Belvedere Park duked it out at Field of the Rawhides and the Blues came out victorious.
Barton Springs starter Steve Fitzpatrick had a strong outing against the Belvedere Park Rawhides at Field of the Rawhides. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-5 win. The winning pitcher was Fitzpatrick, now 2-3. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4.
Barton Springs relied on the hitting of José González to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blues on top, 6-3. For the game, González had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I like our mindset right now," said Barton Springs manager John Wright.
The 7th-place Blues have won 4 straight games.
