New Orleans first baseman Jorge Alejándrez had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Hollywood Shredders, 8-4. Markus Widner got the win, improving to 8-4. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. The Voodoo now have a mark of 44-36.

New Orleans used a timely hit from Derek Corbin to get the win. The third baseman delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Voodoo on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
