Evergreens Rally For Late Win Over White Walkers
The Portland Evergreens powered past the Buffalo White Walkers, 8-7, at Evergreen Park. Vicente Gomillion belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. With the win, Portland goes to 36-44, while the White Walkers fall to 49-31.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Portland trailing 7-6, Gomillion hit a slider from Kenji Aoki for a 2-run home run, giving the Evergreens the walk-off win.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Portland skipper Brandon Slouck.
