The Northville Eclipse topped the Barton Springs Blues, 6-3, in M3L Double A action at Old-Timers Park. The player of the game was Northville pitcher and Kennebunk, Maine native John Seawright. Seawright went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 6-5. Jason Breary was credited with the save for Northville, his 4th of the season.
Gent Fleming made an early impact for Northville when he stroked his 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Eclipse on top, 5-1.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Fleming told the Northville Today.
Northville now has a 3-game win streak.
