The Boston Patriots downed the Chicago Silver Sox, 8-6, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Brevyn Spann-Ford led the way, going 3-for-4 for Boston. Elton Coalan got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The win leaves Boston with a record of 3-5.

Spann-Ford put Boston up, 5-2, when he hit a 2-run home run off Rhys Maskell in the bottom of the fourth. His 2nd home run of the season helped the Patriots capture the win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Spann-Ford said.
