Starting pitcher Matthew Fallows pitched well enough to help the Hollywood Shredders beat the Las Vegas Flamingos by the score of 5-4. Hollywood reliever Brantford Winstworth III picked up the win, upping his record to 2-4. Ricardo Ruíz took the loss. Hwa-pyung Yi earned his 1st save in 2 tries.

Hollywood needed the clutch hitting of Baldomero Avino to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shredders on top, 3-2. For the game, Avino had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We played hard and won," said Fallows. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'

Hollywood, now 36-42, holds 7th place in the Premier League.
