Nationals Curb Rails, 8-4
|
Ottawa left fielder Sallvador Rebola was a significant contributor in his team's 8-4 triumph over the Richland Rails. He went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Ottawa. Ottawa now sits at 25-32, while Richland falls to 35-22.
Ottawa took a 5-2 lead on Travis Ladd's 50th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Ladd hit in the top of the seventh, left Richland pitcher Weon Kim shaking his head.
"Feels good to get the job done," Rebola said after the game.
