Fur Traders Finish Off Nationals in 12

Behind a solid performance from left fielder Mark Boyle, the Tacoma Fur Traders defeated the Ottawa Nationals, 7-4. Boyle was 1-2 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Fur Traders. Anthony Lang, credited with the win, is now 2-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Fur Traders saw their record improve to 23-29.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 12th, until Boyle delivered big-time for Tacoma, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Jesús Torres. The game-changing hit put the Fur Traders on top, 7-4.
In postgame comments, Boyle said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
