Highlanders Turn Back Athletic Club KC Academy, 4-2

Asheville Highlanders starter Michael White turned in a top-notch performance against the Athletic Club KC Academy at KC Academy Field. The result was a win for the Highlanders, 4-2. Picking up the save was Mario Sánchez, his 2nd. Asheville has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
Asheville used the clutch hitting of José García to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Highlanders ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said White.
