Winters Leads Polar Bears to Win over Highlanders
The Billings Polar Bears downed the Asheville Highlanders, 19-5, at Asheville Park. The Polar Bears were led by Jesse Winters, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Billings's record now stands at 14-17, placing them 9th in the Menard's AA.

With Billings leading 5-4 in the top of the fifth, Winters hit a fastball from David Fuentes for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Polar Bears ahead, 9-4.

Winters told a Billings Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
