Highlanders Continue Skid Thanks to Luna, Blues
Barton Springs played host to Asheville at the friendly confines of Blues Field.

A 5-RBI performance from the 25-year old right-handed pitcher William Luna helped the Barton Springs Blues beat the Asheville Highlanders, 8-6. The loss drops Asheville to 6-5.

Luna contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing triple, for Barton Springs in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-3, Luna took a forkball from Dylan Grandjean and stroked the triple to right. His 2nd triple of the season allowed the Blues to leap in front, 6-4.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Blues manager John Wright. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
