White Walkers Score Late, Upend Voodoo, 4-3
|
The White Walkers had to overcome a good performance from New Orleans pitcher John A. Mais to claim a 4-3 win at The Voodoo Lounge. Mais went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The White Walkers have an impressive 44-27 record.
Buffalo used the clutch hitting of Max Bortenschlager to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Bortenschlager.
