Rawhides Come Back Late to Clip Rails
Belvedere Park beat Richland at Field of the Rawhides, eking out a 7-6 win. The win was due in large part to right fielder Maverick McNealy, who earned player of the game honors. The winner was Belvedere Park reliever Mutu Kirra, now 1-0. The loser was Jose Jovellanos. The win pushes Belvedere Park to a record of 5-4.

The Rawhides were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter António Muńóz turned a 1-0 changeup from Jose Jovellanos into a grand slam home run. The walk-off home run sent a roar through the crowd and gave Belvedere Park a thrilling 7-6 win.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Richland manager Fernando Mendoza. "But we decided not to take it."
