Wash, Barton Springs Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
The Barton Springs Blues picked up a win at Atoms Field, knocking off the Bethesda Atoms, 2-0. Starting pitcher Craig Wash was an essential part of his team's success. With the loss, Bethesda sinks to 2-3.
Wash delivered a quality start for Barton Springs. The 6' 2" right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings of work.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Chris Johnson. "That was the problem."
