Bushby Hits 2 home runs in Evergreens Win
|
The Portland Evergreens defeated the Greenville 84s, 8-2, at 84s Field today. Leading the charge for Portland was designated hitter Noah Bushby. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Portland is 9th in the Premier League with a record of 30-37.
Bushby contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Portland in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Bushby took a changeup from Kanakanui Lokomaikainani and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Evergreens to leap in front, 2-1.
Bushby called the triumph "a good team win."
