Piranhas Lose to Knights, 5-1
|
David Blake never let the Piranhas get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Knights to a 5-1 win. Dahab Kanda was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. The Knights now have a mark of 38-46.
The Knights grabbed the lead in the bottom of the second. With two out, Tony Goodwin hit a 2-run home run off Román Mejía, putting Kingston Township in front, 3-0. For Goodwin, it was his 2nd home run of the season.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray. "Our pregame was pretty good."
