Flamingos Best Evergreens in Pitching Duel
Las Vegas beat Portland at The Strip, eking out a 2-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Isaaka Ienimea, who earned player of the game honors. Morris Prinkey recorded his 11th save for Las Vegas. With the win, the Flamingos have a record of 21-41.

The Flamingos got a big at-bat from first baseman Sake van Arem. For the game, van Arem was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Las Vegas a 2-1 lead.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Portland skipper Brandon Slouck, "and it cost us."
