Knights Jolt Lakers with Late Rally

Kingston Township Knights starter Jin-oong Mae was in fine form against the Echo Park Lakers at LA Forum, leading his team to a 5-3 win. The winner was Kingston Township reliever Ebby Calvin LaLoosh, now 2-0. The loser was Ed Abood. Earning his 14th save of the year was John Riggleman.
Kingston Township used the timely hitting of Amor Campos to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Knights ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.
"I felt good up there," said Campos. "I saw the ball well."
The 8th-place Knights are now 21-25, the Lakers 21-25.
