Angeddy Almanzar knocked in 3 runs to help Echo Park beat Seattle, 9-7. Almanzar produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Echo Park reliever Ken Peterson picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-0. Blaine Stottlar was collared with the loss. Ed Abood was called on to finish, recording his 11th save.

Echo Park took a 9-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, left fielder Philip Todd hit a grand slam home run that aroused the crowd.

In postgame comments to the Echo Park Daily, Almanzar said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

The Lakers sit in 9th place in the Third League with a record of 20-22.
