The D.C. Divided topped the Montana Pandas by the score of 7-5, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Nick Boyd. Boyd went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Divided. The Divided now have a mark of 20-19.
Boyd had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Jasper Jordan, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Divided a 7-5 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Boyd.
Boyd told a D.C. Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
