Sunset District got a terrific performance from pitcher Aurelio Ortíz, but it wasn't enough to beat the Scranton Supernovas. Scranton won the Fog Park contest, 5-1. Ortíz was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. The winning continues for Scranton, with the latest making it 7 straight.

Scranton used the clutch hitting of Ken Norris to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Supernovas the lead, 3-1. For the game, Norris had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.
