Halberds Topple Dodos with Late Rally
The 2040 season is getting ugly for Hialeah.

The Alloway Halberds handed the Hialeah Dodos a loss at Ballpark of Alloway. The final score was 6-4. Carlos Garza was named player of the game for Alloway. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 2. Alloway reliever León Marinero was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Mat Tengku took the loss. Getting the save was Chun-yeong Byung-Ho, his 19th.

Garza had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-2 curveball from Mat Tengku, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Halberds a 5-4 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Garza.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Alloway manager Jack Clayton.

With the win over Hialeah, the Halberds improved to 39-37.
